Designed for use when pumping and de-watering trenches, manholes, bunds and excavations, these filters are easy to use on-site, cost-effective and offer exceptional return on investment. Suitable for use with all standard mobile water pumps and easily connected with the simple reusable cable ties provided, they are used on a daily basis by many of the UK’s leading utility contractors to remove sediment which could otherwise pollute navigable water or drainage systems.
Constructed from a layered system of nylon mono-filament for capturing sediment particles down to 150µm, and a PVC nylon outer sleeve tested for tensile strength and durability, this rugged filter sock is built to handle repeated use in harsh conditions. It's possible to reuse the filter up to 20 times dependant on the geology of the sediment.
The GREEN RHINO® Heavy Duty Sediment Filter will retain 40kg of sediment before having to be emptied so it can be reused meaning its suited well for larger dewatering jobs. Additionally the filter has 4 lifting straps to enable safe lifting, when full, by two people.
