Designed for use when pumping and dewatering trenches, manholes, bunds and excavations, these filters are easy to use on-site, cost-effective and offer exceptional return on investment. Suitable for use with all standard mobile water pumps and easily connected with the simple reusable cable ties provided, they are used on a daily basis by many of the UK’s leading utility contractors to remove sediment which could otherwise pollute navigable water or drainage systems.
Constructed from a layered system of nylon mono-filament for capturing sediment particles down to 150µm, and a PVC nylon outer sleeve tested for tensile strength and durability, this rugged filter sock is built to handle repeated use in harsh conditions. It's possible to reuse the filter up to 20 times dependant on the geology of the sediment.
