Product Overview

GREEN RHINO® Oil and Sediment Dewatering Filter - Holds 20kg / 2.5 Litres - 150 Micron - GROSF01

Designed for use when pumping and de-watering trenches, manholes, bunds and excavations, these filters are easy to use on-site, cost-effective and offer exceptional return on investment. Suitable for use with all standard mobile water pumps and easily connected with simple reusable cable ties provided, they are used on a daily basis by many of the UK’s leading utility contractors to remove contaminants such as oil and sediment which could otherwise pollute navigable water or drainage systems.

The GREEN RHINO® Oil and Sediment Filter has been constructed from a multi-layered filter system of nylon mono-filament for capturing sediment particles, and layers of polypropylene non-woven material for oil absorbency. With a PVC nylon outer sleeve tested for tensile strength and durability, this rugged filter is built to handle repeated use in harsh conditions.

It is possible to re-use this filter up to 20 times depending on the geology of the sediment being filtered or until the hydrocarbon detector turns a dark blue which indicates the filter has absorbed 2.5L of Oil. The filter will retain 20kg of sediment before having to be emptied so it can be reused.

Perfectly suited for large de-watering jobs where oil might be present in the water, this is the professional utility contractors Sediment filter of choice.

Features :

  • Save Money – No Vacuum Tankering Required
  • Retains 2.5L of oil sheen
  • Filters 20kg of sediment for single person handling
  • Simply empty and reuse up to 20 times or until integral hydrocarbon detector turns dark blue
  • Water discharged to Environment Agency accepted levels (150µm)
  • Highly visible colour to avoid trips
